For the festive season and mostly to drive up sales (but of course) , L’Oreal introduced a paint edition which was everything that was introduced to the world much before India. I don’t understand. We are growing and the cosmetics industry is growing like Hansika Motwani. You know, really quick. So why don’t get editions of makeup that the rest of the world is getting? Rant is over. Let’s get over to the review:

The L’Oreal Infallible Paint Eyeshadows

L'Oreal Infallible Paint

These are two eyeshadows on either side, most of these are complementary so you can create a look with it. I got the shade ‘Shady Violet’ which has a lilac at one end and a deeper , darker purple at the other end. The colours are creamy and it comes with a doe foot applicator which is quite thick and unwieldy to apply eyeshadow with. So I turn to a flat brush. I strongly recommend using this with a flat brush and using patting motion to place the product. Swiping the product takes it off and leaves bald patches. Remember, pat not swipe and you will get a wonderful pigment of colour. It lasts on the eyes but is not waterproof. Overall, really enjoyed this one. Expensive but good.

The L’Oreal Infallible Paint Liquid Liner

This one comes in stunning shades and has a felt tip. The colour pay off is amazing and for the most part this goes on opaque in one stroke. I loved the colour I bought and this range has some neat colours. I liked this product but it’s a tad bit expensive. Also, wouldn’t recommend using it over a dark eyeshadow as the tip may pick up some colour, something I don’t like. Liked it and would recommend it if you are into coloured liners.

The L’Oreal Infallible Paint Chubby Stick

 L'Oreal Infallible Paint

A blush as a chubby stick. How cute. I think so too. The pigmentation on this one is strong so a little goes a long way. However, the product delivers a strong colour payoff that blends out beautifully giving you a natural flush of colour and if required and more intense look. For a dewy look, this one is absolutely spot on. Perhaps one of the better products in this range.

The L’Oreal Infallible Paint Lip

Okay, here’s where things get a little tricky. While everyone seems to love these and their pigmentation,  I didn’t. First of all, that cloying sweet smell can put you off. It’s really, really strong and you can smell it for a long time. Second, one swipe of the product is not enough, you have to go in a second time and sometimes, this takes the product off which is never a good look. It doesn’t last too long as well, which makes this , well, pointless. Lasts a little better with lip liner but nothing to write home about. Steer away people.
