You know that time that you applied to be a geisha? Yes, this powder foundation is great for those times. Oh, you didn’t? Neither did many of us but that might be the only occasion I think warrants this Lakme 9 to 5 Primer + Matte powder foundation’s use. It’s a chalky, powdery mess.
The packaging of this powder foundation is actually nice. All rose gold and pretty like most of the products from Lakme 9 to 5 range. It’s plastic but does look quite lovely. And like all compacts, you do have a mirror but you have to keep shuffling between the mirror and the product which if nothing else is exercise for your hand.
But, and this is a big but. Why does it look like I didn’t get the whole product? It’s disturbing. Lakme, you listening? I am pretty hmpf.
This product gets no marks from me. The coverage is just about okay. Which means that it doesn’t cover anything. It’s too chalky. It’s also a little to powdery and basically I think it’s a giant fail. There are so many better products in the market at a cheaper rate that offer more than this does. Plus, they aren’t priced at Rs.600 which I think is quite high considering that this Powder Foundation does zilch for me. Hey, I don’t hate Lakme as a brand and some products from the Lakme 9 to 5 range have been quite nice but I am quite upset (can you tell?) by this product.
You go back to the drawing board Lakme and think about what you’ve done.
