Hello, hello. It you think the blog’s been a little slow, it has. And this is because I am launching my Youtube channel soon. So. Much. Excite. Also, I have been attending a lot of events. To make myself known and all that. I was invited by team at MyGlamm for their launch of the Margaret Dabbs Nail services and by the team at Colorbar for Makeover Wednesdays. Read on to find out more. MyGlamm Introduces Margaret Dabbs MyGlamm, the premium home salon service introduced Margaret Dabbs pedicures and manicures- these are nail services that don’t require any dipping of the hand in the water. During the launch, bloggers were invited to experience these services and can I please say this? I was super impressed. Even the hand sanitiser from this brand smells amazing. And guys their crystal file? Yeah, that is beyond epic. No seriously. I will buying that one as soon as I can get my hands on it. We experienced this service at the MyGlamm offices in Lower Parel- which by the …

Product Review: BBlunt Back To Life Dry Shampoo

Before we start, let me tell you this. I am a clean, hygienic person with good grooming habits. But hey, I have a few off days too. Just putting it out there. So there’s a video everywhere I look about BBlunt’s Dry Shampoo where women are spraying this into the air. Yes, air not hair. Obviously, I got curious and clicked on the Buy Now option. And I was whisked away to the Amazon.in website where I ordered it from. Now, here’s the thing. I ordered it because they had created a buzz around it- which is super. But the delivery took more than a week. Such a downer. I thought they would have it in stock and ready to ship. Enough of the delivery talk. Let’s get into the review already. BBlunt Back To Life Dry Shampoo So I really wanted to test this product out. And I wasn’t going to be a wimp and give it hair that had been washed two days ago. Nope. This one was going to have to prove …

Event Review: Sab Chalta Hai, The Barking Deer

Last weekend, a bunch of my friends and I made our way to Lower Parel. That’s far, okay? And we were in a good mood. You know when you book tickets to a comedy show, you are going for a laugh and it always puts me in high spirits. Anyway, so we get to The Barking Deer at Lower Parel. This is in the same compound as Zaffran, Blue Frog and Cafe Zoe. Once there, we had to wait because the loft where the event was happening wasn’t open yet. The ticket entitled us to a house beer or a mocktails. We are such a bunch of wussies- we all had a mocktail. But that’s not the point. Let’s review the act, because that’s why you are here. Sab Chalta Hai by Chalta Hai Comedy at The Barking Deer, Lower Parel   Once we got front row seats because we are daredevils like that, we ordered some food. Because we are also classy, we placed it on the seats ahead of it effectively rendering it …

Hair Service Review (Women): Savio John Pereira, Bandra

It’s been a while since I did a salon review. Makes you think I haven’t been going to salons, huh? Okay, that is partially true. There are salons mushrooming up everywhere and it’s really worrying because well, the standards of service are average in many. Anyway, I found Dr. Ekta Bhatia who was looking for a haircut and was willing to put the appointment taking, the salon researching and more into my very able hands. So here’s a before picture. Ekta is a physiotherapist and wanted a fuss free hairstyle. What are we reviewing today? The Savio John Pereira Salon in Bandra. It’s located next to The Bagel Shop. And there’s one itsy bitsy sign telling you it’s there. I wasn’t expecting much but I was surprised with the space the salon had. I’ll tell you all about it in the review. Come. The Space I don’t know if it’s just me but I have a soft spot for these old Bandra bungalows. You know with the shuttered windows and slanted roofs. Savio’s salon is …

Product Review: Lotus Herbals UV Screen Matte Gel

Look the monsoon is supposed to be around the corner but the corner is far, far away. So while we are sweltering and our faces are melting off, we need sunscreen. And sunscreens are sticky. Very sticky, going by what we have in the market right now. Every sunscreen that I have tried to date has left my face feeling like you could put notes on it and it will hold up. Oh  and slightly whitish- like you were attempting to be a ghost but gave up midway. As is protocol, when you get sick of all sunscreens, you turn to Lotus Herbals UV Matte Gel or Neutrogena. I turned to Lotus Herbals. Here’s my review. Lotus Herbals UV Screen Matte Gel Feel: It feels like a gel. And that’s so awesome for a sunscreen dude. It goes on easy and disappears in minutes. You’ll feel like you’ve not even put anything on. Best bit? No whitish aftermath. Isn’t that super? Fragrance: It smells unlike a sunscreen. It’s mildly fragrant but you can’t tell when you …

Itchy down there? 4 Reasons That’s Happening and Solutions

As I sit here writing this, droplets of sweat are racing against each other on my back. They are headed towards my ass and many more are at the starting line. So what we know for sure is that it is hot AF. That being said, what about the itchiness right? Well, here’s what you need to know. First off, you could be itchy because there’s an infection. But if you don’t have one ( you only know you don’t have one if you’ve got it checked by your gyno) , then there are plenty of other reasons you are itchy down there and I put a list down for you. And because I am really nice, I have also offered workable solutions- or atleast the ones that worked for me. It’s hot out there Look, it’s still sweltering out there and that could be a reason you are super itchy. I once scratched myself to a point where everytime I put water there, it would burn. So obviously I made a trip to the …
